Reza Ghazvini of Placecap GmbH, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce that Reza Ghazvini, Co-Founder and Partner of Placecap GmbH, has joined as an Affiliate Partner.

Mr. Reza Machdi-Ghazvini is Co-Founder and Partner at Placecap GmbH.

Placecap is a fundraising advisory firm specializing in primaries and secondaries. Mr. Ghazvini has been in client-facing roles for 19 years and brings extensive experience in private market fundraising.

Based in Frankfurt, he spent the last six years at Eurazeo, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s international institutional investor base across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the DACH, Benelux, and Nordic regions. His expertise spans private debt, infrastructure funds, and private equity. At Eurazeo, he significantly increased the number of LPs from these regions, including insurance companies, pension funds, and family offices.

Prior to joining Eurazeo, Mr. Ghazvini was an Institutional Sales Manager for the DACH region at Robeco for four years, where he worked closely with institutional investors on asset management solutions. His career began in investment banking before transitioning to asset management, including experience in hedge funds.

Mr. Ghazvini holds a BA, is a trained banker, and is a CAIA charter holder. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Machdi-Ghazvini is the German CAIA Chapter Head, actively contributing to the private markets community.
