Simon Shaner of Queens Gate Capital, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform.

We are excited to announce that Simon Shaner, Managing Partner of Queens Gate Capital, has joined as an Affiliate Partner.

Mr. Simon Shaner is the Managing Partner of Queens Gate Capital.

Queens Gate focuses on raising equity and debt capital for real estate, restaurant, and hotel investments and raising capital for early-stage companies and venture capital fund managers.

Prior to establishing Queens Gate Capital, Mr. Shaner was a founding partner of Anavon Capital, a London-based long/short equity hedge fund. He was also the CEO and board member of a private equity-backed operating business with $50 million in revenue and 600 employees.

Mr. Shaner started his career at Goldman Sachs and gained experience at GE Capital as a Vice President of their Franchise Finance group, where he worked on multi-unit restaurant acquisitions. He also led international operations for Davidson Kempner Capital Management, where he protected investor capital during the 2008 financial crisis and managed billions of dollars of foreign exchange risk.

Mr. Shaner graduated with a Master's in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Utah. He is an investor in VSchool.io - a leader in UX/UI, web development, and cybersecurity education.

Mr. Shaner currently holds the Series 63, 65, and 82 registrations with FINRA.
