Co-Managing Partners Bruce McGuire and James Aiello of Greenwich Business Institute Inc have joined as Affiliate Partners.
Bruce McGuire & Jim Aiello are Co-CEOs of the Greenwich Business Institute a holding company the owns and produces the Greenwich Economic Forum, and provides strategic advice and capital raising services to private fund sponsors. The Greenwich Economic Forum is an elite asset management and finance conference that annually gathers CEO’s and CIO’s from global financial firms and asset owners for peer to peer exchange, and to discuss global financial policy.
Bruce McGuire is the Co-Chair of the Greenwich Economic Forum, Co-CEO of Greenwich Business Institute, and Founder and President of the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association. Bruce is an attorney and a 26-year veteran of Wall Street, having held officer level positions at top firms, including Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Sought out for his advice and counsel, Bruce is a Director of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Connecticut-China Council, and he serves on Dean John Quelch’s Finance Advisory Board at the University of Miami Herbert School of Business.
Mr. McGuire’s comments on the economy and the alternative investment industry have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Economist, Bloomberg, China Daily, and many other publications. In addition, Bruce has done segments on the hedge fund industry for China’s CCTV, and TV Tokyo.
Mr. McGuire is a graduate of the University of Miami and is a member of the Connecticut Bar. Mr. McGuire currently holds the Series 6, 7, 22, 31 and 63 registrations with FINRA.
Jim Aiello is the Co-Chair of Greenwich Economic Forum and Co-CEO of Greenwich Business Institute, and has 30 years of real estate and financial services advisory experience. Jim’s investment career began in management consulting in New York, focusing on business strategy and profitability related to the investment management and other finance and real estate-related industries, including working at First Manhattan Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs, and Salomon Brothers. The Greenwich Business Institute currently produces the Greenwich Economic Forum and associated alternative industry events. Jim also Chairs the Greenwich Economic Development Council and Co-Chairs the Harvard Club of New York City Real Estate Special Interest Group.
Mr. Aiello earned his BA in Government (cum laude) from Harvard University. Mr. Aiello is currently pursuing the Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.
