Co-Founders Michael Faloon, CFA, VP of Finance & Operations, and Jase Wilson, VP of Growth, of Ready Network have joined as Affiliate Partners.
Mike Faloon is the Co-Founder and VP of Finance & Operations for Ready Network.
Prior to Ready, Mr. Faloon was the Chief Strategy Officer at Neighborly, a San Francisco–based financial technology startup focused on financing and deploying fiber-optic broadband infrastructure in communities around the U.S. The company aimed to deliver critical fiber broadband infrastructure to communities, and opportunities to investors interested in closing the digital divide. Previous to their broadband endeavors, Neighborly facilitated municipal bond investments to finance community infrastructure, including schools, libraries, bike paths, and parks. Investors include Emerson Collective, 8VC and Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures.
Prior to Neighborly, Mr. Faloon was the Chief Operating Officer at Standish Mellon Asset Management. Standish manages $150 billion in fixed income assets on behalf of individuals, corporations, sovereign wealth funds, and foreign central banks. Mr. Wilson worked at Standish for nearly twenty years initially assuming a position as an Associate and Credit Analyst and working his way up through a position as a Portfolio Manager and then ultimately his C-level position as COO of the firm.
Prior to Standish, Mr. Faloon worked as an Associate at Fidelity Investments. Mr. Faloon is also a former Director of the Green Bond Principles Executive Committee. He is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals and holds a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification. Mr. Faloon earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maine. Mr. Faloon also holds a Masters in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and an MS in Finance from Northeastern University. Mr. Faloon is also Chartered Financial Analyst and holds the CFA® designation. Mr. Faloon is currently pursuing his Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.
Jase Wilson is the Co-Founder and VP of Growth for Ready Network. Mr. Wilson co-founded Ready to help smaller and mid-sized Internet Service Providers (ISPs) grow.
Prior to Ready, Mr. Wilson founded Neighborly, a San Francisco–based financial technology startup focused on financing and deploying fiber-optic broadband infrastructure in communities around the U.S. A fast-growing, venture-backed company at the intersection of tech, finance, and public infrastructure, Neighborly delivers critical fiber broadband infrastructure to communities, and opportunities to investors who care about closing the digital divide.
Prior to founding Neighborly, Mr. Wilson was Captain for Code for America Brigade KC, a national network of community organizers and technologists who put technology to work for the benefit of local communities. Prior to America Brigade KC, Mr. Wilson was CEO of Luminopolis, a firm committed to building municipal websites and civic apps.
Prior to serving as CEO of Luminopolis, Mr. Wilson was a Member of the Mayors’ Google Bi-State Innovation Team which was established in 2011 by Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Sly James and Kansas City, Kansas Mayor Joe Reardon. Members of the team were charged with creating a playbook that identifies creative uses of the Google Ultra High-Speed Fiber (“Google Fiber”) infrastructure and how best to market the KC metro’s high-speed fiber connectivity in recruiting business, industry and institutional interests to the area. Prior to being a Member of the Mayors’ Google Bi-State Innovation Team, Mr. Wilson was a Residential Advisor and a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Mr. Wilson earned a BA in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, as well as a Masters of City Design and Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).Mr. Wilson is currently pursuing his Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.
