Jeffrey Seo

Founder & Partner 

Jeff Seo is the Founder and Managing Partner of ELA Partners. Mr. Seo specializes in capital raising services for alternative investment opportunities selecting mandates opportunistically from the full spectrum of structures and strategies within the private offering realm.

Prior to ELA Partners, Mr. Seo was a Senior Vice President on the Asian Equity Sales desk for Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc in New York. Prior to Macquarie, Mr. Seo was a Director and Head of Equity Sales Trading for Standard Chartered Bank in New York. Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Seo was a Managing Director for Piper Jaffray in New York where he was responsible for the build-out of the Asian Equity sales and trading business in the United States.

Prior to his role as Managing Director for Piper Jaffray, Mr. Seo served as Head of the U.S. Offices for Kim Eng Securities, USA where Mr. Seo managed a highly successful team of Equity sales and trading professionals. Prior to Kim Eng Securities, Mr. Seo served as a Senior Corporate Tax Consultant for Ernst & Young.

Mr. Seo earned his B.S. in Accounting and Investment Banking from the New York University.

Mr. Seo holds the Series 7, 24, 55, & 63 registrations with FINRA.

Alex Muromcew

Associate

Alex Muromcew is a managing partner at ELA Partners.  

ELA Partners specializes in Alternative Investments and Private Assets.  

Prior to joining ELA Partners, Mr. Muromcew was a Managing Director at financial services firm TIAA, where he managed more than $2bn in global equities. Mr. Muromcew has been active for many years in the Rocky Mountain West start-up scene as an angel investor, mentor, and advisor.  

Prior to TIAA, Mr. Muromcew was the Vice President of Loomis Sayles and the co-head of International Portfolio Management. Mr. Muromcew co-managed the Nicholas Applegate International Equity Fund and International Small Cap Fund. He was an analyst for Teton Partners LP, focusing on an international equity long/short fund in Boston, focusing on Asia-Pacific and Global Emerging Markets. Mr. Muromcew started his career as an analyst with Jardine Fleming Securities (Tokyo) as a trading company analyst and assistant Financial Sector Analyst.

Mr. Muromcew has a BA in East Asian Studies cum laude from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and speaks Japanese.  

Mr. Muromcew currently holds the Series 7 and 63 with FINRA.
