Stuart Hamlyn

Mr. Stuart Hamlyn is the President of Mallard Capital Group.

Mallard Capital Group advises family offices, large institutions, and hedge funds with their investments, currently focused on helping them re-allocate in an ever-changing world; this would include gaining access to otherwise closed investments, selling private stock, or conducting portfolio oversight.

Mr. Hamlyn is a founding partner of Prospect Capital. Prior to founding Prospect Capital, he was the Vice President of Interfin Corporation, an alternative investment consulting firm. Interfin had placed nearly $3 billion in alternative investments for global institutional clients. Following the reorganization of the Interfin Group, Mr. Hamlyn continued his role as Executive Director of InterSecurities Ltd, placing over 2 billion in alternative investments. In 2002, InterSecurities formed a partnership with Olympius Capital (and many other firms) and served on the Investment Committee for their fund-of-funds portfolio of top-tier hedge funds. Through this partnership, he was able to allow his clients to gain individual capacity in some of the world's most sought-after funds.

Mr. Hamlyn has been an active investor and advisor to several technology and financial services ventures, including Inc. and Queganas – both of which he founded.

Prior to his career in financial services, Mr. Hamlyn was a senior software engineer for both Apple Computer in Cupertino, CA, and Motorola, Inc. in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Mr. Hamlyn attended Brown University, where he received dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Computer Science in 1991 and a Master of Science in Computer Science in 1993.

Mr. Hamlyn lives in the Bay area but travels frequently internationally to maintain his relationships consisting primarily of banks, sovereign funds, and very large family offices (greater than $2 billion in AUM). Recently, he is involved (discretely) in the secondary security space to help venture funds (primarily in the Bay Area) and hedge funds globally to match buyers and sellers.

Mr. Hamlyn holds the Series 7, 27, 31, and 63 registrations with FINRA.
