Stonington Cox

CEO & Founder

Mr. Stonington Cox is the Founder & CEO of Nomos Group Holdings, LLC, a capital raising firm focused on private co-living and other types of real estate investment opportunities.

Prior to Nomos, Mr. Cox was a Director with Cadre, an investment management and advisory business based in New York that focuses on providing individuals and institutions direct access to large commercial real estate investment opportunities.  Cadre also offers a managed portfolio service and a real estate secondaries market.

Prior to Cadre, Mr. Cox was the Interim Head of Real Estate at OpenDoor Coliving, a firm building a lifestyle housing brand & national network of co-living properties, where he remains a Board Member.  OpenDoor’s co-living model and operations enable higher-density residential properties that increases rents per sqft and NOI, while catering to the unmet needs of the millennial urban market.

Prior to OpenDoor, Mr. Cox was a Partner at Accord Group Holdings, LLC, a financial advisory firm specializing in the structuring and investment in private equity real estate vehicles as well as principal investing into select vehicles, transactions, and platforms.   Accord’s business consists of M&A Advisory, structuring and capital raising, as well as principal investing and fund vehicle management.

Prior to Accord, Mr. Cox was a principal within Private Capital Markets for Macquarie Group based in Hong Kong.  In this role, Mr. Cox structured and raised private equity real estate vehicles for Asia real estate managers including a mid-market Tokyo residential fund, one of the first car parking funds in China (US $265M), and the structuring of an industrial logistics fund in Japan (US$1bn +).  Mr. Cox also focused on multiple other assignments throughout India, China, Australia, and Japan.

Prior to Macquarie Group, Mr. Cox was consultant with Boston Consulting Group.  Prior to Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Cox was a Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing, Tenant Representative Agent working very closely with the head of the GMAC/Pacific Union Commercial Brokerage.

Mr. Cox earned a B.S. with Honors in The Science of Foreign Service, Culture and Politics from Georgetown University.  Mr. Cox earned an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.  Mr. Cox also earned a Master’s degree in Finance, Investment Banking from INSEAD. 

Mr. Cox currently holds Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations with FINRA.

Connor Moore

Associate

Mr. Connor Moore is a Senior Associate of Nomos Group Holdings, LLC. 

Mr. Moore launched his career in Real Estate Finance in 2020 when he joined Nomos Group, an advisory and capital raising firm based in Miami, FL focused on innovative real estates strategies such as Coliving and Property Technology. 

Before joining Nomos, Mr. Moore led the Business Development team at an image recognition start-up called TrademarkVision, which was acquired by Clarivate Analytics (a Thomson Reuters spinoff) in 2018. During his two years at TrademarkVision, Mr. Moore participated in a business fellowship program called “Venture for America,” where he honed his entrepreneurial skills and developed an extensive network of start-up founders. 

Mr. Moore completed his MBA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Asia School of Business (in collaboration with MIT Sloan), focusing his studies on international business and entrepreneurship. Mr. Moore also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University. 

While in business school, Mr. Moore spent three months visiting Coliving operators and attending real estate conferences around the world for his master’s thesis, “The Case for Coliving.” It was this experience of deep research and industry networking that pushed Connor into a career in real estate to pursue his passion for communal living models and creating better ways for people to live.

Mr. Moore recently passed the FINRA. Series 7 & 63 exams to become a licensed securities professional.
