Alex Muromcew is a Managing Partner at Perine Global LP.
Perine Global specializes in capital raising and advisory services for early-stage start-ups and funds in the alternative asset space.
Prior to founding Perine Global, Mr. Muromcew was a Managing Director at financial services firm TIAA, where he managed more than $2B in global equities. Mr. Muromcew has been active for many years in the Rocky Mountain West start-up scene as an angel investor, mentor, and advisor.
Prior to TIAA, Mr. Muromcew was the Vice President of Loomis Sayles and the co-head of International Portfolio Management. Mr. Muromcew co-managed the Nicholas Applegate International Equity Fund and International Small Cap Fund. He was an analyst for Teton Partners LP, focusing on an international equity long/short fund in Boston, focusing on Asia-Pacific and Global Emerging Markets. Mr. Muromcew started his career as an analyst with Jardine Fleming Securities (Tokyo) as a trading company analyst and assistant Financial Sector Analyst.
Mr. Muromcew has a BA in East Asian Studies cum laude from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also fluent in speaking Japanese.
Mr. Muromcew currently holds Series 7 and 63 with FINRA.
