Mr. Donohue is the Founder and Managing Member of Saranac Lake Capital, LLC. Mr. Donohue specializes in raising capital on behalf of emerging hedge fund managers focusing on niche and short alpha strategies.

Prior to founding Saranac Lake Capital, Mr. Donohue was the COO for Spruce Point Capital Management, LLC, an activist short selling firm. Prior to Spruce Point Capital, Mr. Donohue was the Director of Marketing for Kerrisdale Capital Management, another short-focused research firm at the time.

Prior to Kerrisdale Capital, Mr. Donohue was a pre launch Partner at Magister Ludi Capital Management, LLC, a global macro hedge fund. Prior to Magister Ludi, Mr. Donohue served in corporate strategy or product marketing positions within the investment management divisions of Citi and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Donohue began his career as an analyst with the Barra Strategic Consulting Group.

Mr. Donohue received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Mathematics and Economics from Hamilton College. Mr. Donohue is a CAIA charter holder and is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. Mr. Donohue lives in Atlanta with his wife and children.

Mr. Donohue currently holds Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.

Ms. Laura Horan serves as Director of Marketing for Saranac Lake Capital which specializes in raising capital on behalf of emerging hedge funds managers focusing on a niche and short alpha strategy.

Prior to joining Saranac Lake Capital, Ms. Horan founded LJH Consulting LLC, providing business development and marketing solutions within the financial services industry. Prior to LJHC, Ms. Horan held several roles in retail and institutional sales and client services at Lord Abbett, a private investment management company.

Ms. Horan received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Colgate University.

Ms. Horan currently holds Series 7 and 63 with FINRA.
