Sam Kelly is the Founder and Managing Partner of Solomon Gideon Capital.

The company was founded because in an effort to expand access to quality investment banking services and deals across a diverse spectrum of parties that can benefit from a partner like us. We strive to create an ecosystem for innovators and investors to build the future inclusively. 

Prior to Solomon Gideon Capital, Mr. Kelly worked at Merrill Lynch and a private family office. Mr. Kelly has been in finance for nearly a decade and leverages his expertise when guiding clients through complex transactions. Mr. Kelly's practice primarily focuses on buy and sell side advisory and capital raising services for small to middle-market healthcare & and renewable energy companies. 

Mr. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Virginia State University.

Mr. Kelly currently holds series SIE, 7, and 66 registrations with FINRA.

Mr. Christian Wood is a Partner and Co-Founder of Solomon Gideon Capital.

Prior to helping launch Solomon Gideon Capital, Mr. Wood worked in the Commercial Real Estate Industry for 15 years focusing on multi-family assets in Washington, D.C., and New York City. Additionally, he has spent time in the healthcare and renewable energy industries working on various assignments.

Mr. Wood holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University. He is currently pursuing a post-Graduate diploma in Financial Strategy from Oxford University.

Mr. Wood currently holds the Series 63, 79, and 82 registrations with FINRA.

Mr. Johnny Ruiz is an Investment Banker at Solomon Gideon Capital.

Mr. Ruiz is an eight-year Army Veteran. Mr. Ruiz also has experience in Corporate Finance as a past Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch, and as a past Financial Analyst for Aon Hewitt and Wake Forest Baptist Health. Mr. Ruiz also worked for Major Distribution Investments as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He spends a great deal of time working with local non-profits helping to educate these organizations and their constituents about the fundamentals of investing and capital markets.

Mr. Ruiz also sees a significant amount of deal flow in the Entertainment industry in channels such as Film Production, Gaming, Sports, Media, Sports Betting, and more.

Mr. Ruiz holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Ruiz currently holds the Series 7, 65, and 66 registrations with FINRA and has also passed the CFA level 1 exam.
