Charles Schwartz III

Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Schwartz is the founder and Managing Partner of Titanium Capital Group. He has developed and executed a variety of unique solutions and structured transactions throughout his almost 40-year career in derivatives, structured products, and alternative investments.

 

Prior to starting Titanium Capital in 2003, Mr. Schwartz held various leadership roles at top-tier Wall Street institutions: he originated the foreign exchange structured products business at Bankers Trust (1985-1987); he managed global derivatives marketing at an AIG affiliate (1987-1993); he managed the global capital markets derivatives business at Goldman Sachs (1993-1995); he managed the Global Strategic Financial Products Group at UBS (1996-1998); and he re-joined AIG to build its hedge fund structured products business (1999-2002).

 

For more than 20 years, Mr. Schwartz has leveraged his structuring and negotiating skills with his longstanding investor relationships to develop Titanium Capital’s strategy highly focused on non-standard direct investments and investment banking transactions. His investor relationships are largely comprised of global private equity, private credit, venture capital, and niche boutique investment firms seeking special situation opportunities on a non-comingled basis. Titanium Capital’s geographic focus is North America, UK, and Western Europe. Titanium Capital’s transactional focus includes investments relating to diverse sectors such as US commercial mass tort and single-case litigation, UK mass consumer litigation cases and financial claims, patents and intellectual property, film and TV production financing, major sporting events, renewable energy projects, waste-to-energy projects, infrastructure projects, and food, health, and fitness-related businesses.

 

Mr. Schwartz received a BA summa cum laude from Tufts University (1981), an MA in International Affairs from SAIS, Johns Hopkins University (1984), and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (1985).

 

Mr. Schwartz currently holds Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA.
