Marc Rucinski

Partner

Mr. Marc Rucinski is a Partner of Victoria Peak Partners, LLC (“Victoria Peak”).

Victoria Peak provides fundraising services to alternative investment managers, private wealth channels, and companies across a variety of investment vehicles including funds, SPVs, co-investments, direct investments, and secondary transactions.

With over four decades of experience, Mr. Rucinski and his partner, Mr. Terance Philips, have well established relationships with pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurance companies, investment managers, family offices, venture and private equity funds developed during their time working for premier global banks. The team’s fundraising experience includes venture capital, private equity, real estate, direct investments, as well as private credit. Victoria Peak also offers outsourced alternative CIO services to global family offices including the selection, origination, and portfolio management of alternative investments.

Prior to Co-Founding Victoria Peak Partners, Mr. Rucinski worked at several private equity firms developing and implementing strategic expansion plans into new geographic regions and products as well as establishing new GP and LP relationships. Prior to this, Mr. Rucinski spent 8 years at Citi Private Bank where he was part of the senior leadership team that developed the bank’s global alternative investments sourcing, structuring, and distribution platform. In his role, he served as Co-head of Real Estate America and later Asia Pacific Head of Real Estate, Private Equity, and Venture Capital where he led the reformation of an Asian origination, diligence, and asset management office. He also served on Citibank's Global Alternatives Investment and Oversight Committee, which onboarded and oversaw 80+ alternative products during his tenure. Mr. Rucinski also previously worked as a Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Investment Banker and Real Estate Finance & Securitization Large Loan Originator at Credit Suisse and as a Private Equity / Alternative Assets Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co. Collectively over his career, Mr. Rucinski has executed over $45 billion in private equity, venture capital, and real estate transactions. Marc began his career as a management consultant at Accenture for 6 years where he consulted clients throughout the US and Europe.

Mr. Rucinski holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and human & organization development from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Marc previously served as a Big Brother of NYC and as a Senior Content Adviser of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.

Mr. Rucinski holds Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA.

Terrance Philips

Partner

Terrance Philips is a Partner of Victoria Peak Partners, LLC (“Victoria Peak”).

Victoria Peak provides fundraising services to alternative investment managers, private wealth channels, and companies across a variety of investment vehicles including funds, SPVs, co-investments, direct, and secondary transactions.

With over four decades of experience, Mr. Philips and his partner, Mr. Rucinski, have well established relationships with pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurance companies, investment managers, family offices, venture and private equity funds developed during their time working for premier global banks. The team’s fundraising experiences include venture capital, private equity, real estate, direct investments, as well as private credit.  Victoria Peak also offers outsourced alternative CIO services to global family offices including the selection, origination, and portfolio management of alternative investments.

Prior to Co-Founding Victoria Peak Partners, Mr. Philips spent 10 years at Citibank as a Managing Director as the firm’s Asia Head of Private Equity Client Coverage in the Private Bank under the Institutional Client Group. In his role, he was responsible for developing relationships with general partners of private equity firms and their respective funds across Asia. Mr. Philips coordinated with his partners to deliver the Citi Bank platform to the Private Equity asset class to include; subscription facilities, private banking, investment banking, and funds distribution. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Philips spent twelve years with Silicon Valley Bank including several increasingly senior positions including Cash Management Advisor, Global Treasure Advisor, and Managing Director responsible for the firm’s Global Private Equity Service Group. Mr. Philips managed relationships with more than 130 international venture capital firms throughout Asia, Europe, Israel, and South America.

In addition, Mr. Philips is an advisor to the board of directors of both the China Venture Capital Finance Organization and the Hong Kong Private Equity Finance Association. Mr. Philips is also a board member of the Children’s Medical Foundation, a Hong Kong based non-governmental organization focused on saving lives of newborn babies in rural China. Mr. Philips is a member to the Hong Kong Select USA Committee focused on generating Direct Foreign Investment to the USA.

Mr. Philips holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Pepperdine University and an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. Prior to business school, Mr. Philips was also a mentor for BUILD, a nonprofit organization committed to motivating under-resourced high school students to succeed in school and go to higher education by helping them start and run their own businesses. Terrance is an active participant in charities, industry organizations and works to leverage his years of experience in banking and private capital to help others succeed.

Mr. Philips holds the Series 63 and 82 registrations with FINRA.
