Amy J. Ericson is the Vice President of Bar Capital where she works closely with its founder Anand Shahi in facilitating private equity investments in real estate, technology and healthcare. Ms. Ericson joins Bar Capital from Greystone & Co., where she raised approximately $40 million dollars in EB-5 proceeds for multifamily and skilled nursing facility developments across the United States from investors in China, India, Vietnam, Brazil and the Philippines.

Francisco J. Sánchez served as Under Secretary for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce, a post he was nominated to by President Barack Obama in 2009. As Under Secretary, Mr. Sánchez lead the International Trade Administration. As one of the architects of the President’s National Export Initiative (NEI), with the ambitious goal of doubling U.S. exports by the end of 2014, Mr. Sánchez directed programs and policies that promote and protect the competitiveness of American businesses. Under his leadership, working with partners in government, U.S. exports reached all-time highs in both 2011 and 2012.
During the Clinton Administration, he served as the Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Mr. Sánchez previously served in the White House as a Special Assistant to President Clinton and Chief of Staff to the Special Envoy to the Americas.
Mr. Sánchez also spent more than 15 years working with several leading consulting companies on projects involving negotiation strategy and training, most recently as a partner with CMPartners. From 2002 through 2013, Mr. Herbst was the Executive Director of Harcourt Group, a Swiss based Fund of Hedge Funds, where he led and managed the growth of the firm from zero to $6 billion in AUM until the sale of Harcourt AG to Vontobel Group, a Swiss private bank, for $300 million. During this time, Mr. Herbst created joint ventures and led acquisitions across Europe and the US, where he served as the Head and Chief Operating Officer of the US division. Mr. Herbst began his career in 2000 at Enron Corporation in London as an Analyst.

Diego López is the Managing Director of Global SWF, a capital raising advisory boutique. He is an expert in Sovereign Wealth Funds and other institutional investors with over 13 years of work experience in the world’s main financial markets, including Europe, the Middle East, China, Brazil and the US.
Prior to founding Global SWF, he spent five years building up and strengthening PwC’s footprint in the SWF industry as the Director and COO of the global practice, based in Abu Dhabi and in New York. He was responsible for a US$18 million annual budget, and helped the practice grow from US$110 to US$200 million. During these five years, he was a key member of the Deals Origination team, sourcing investment opportunities to the world’s largest investors.
Diego is a member of the Global Advisory Council of Iliad Partners, a Dubai-based VC focused on tech start-ups in the MENA region, and has worked on several LP-GP fundraising processes. Prior to PwC, he worked for 5 years at KPMG and for 2 years at French boutique Accuracy, focusing on private equity, due diligence and valuations. Mr. Kline is currently a member of the Stanford Executive Circle, Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Association of Corporate Growth, the NFLPA, and the NFL Retired Players Association. In 2013, at the age of 36, Mr. Kline was named to The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 list. Mr. Kline was also named to SportsBusiness Journal’s 2016 Power Players List in the Advisory category and Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2017 edition of The Money Book celebrating the most influential people in Los Angeles finance.
Prior to founding Park Lane, Mr. Kline was drafted by the NFL World Champion St. Louis Rams, for whom he played center and quick guard. After retiring from the NFL, Mr. Kline became an active investor in the San Diego and Arizona real estate markets and brought sizable returns to investors in his fund. Mr. Kline also founded The Australian Surf Academy (sold to Surf Diva in 2004) and The Athletes Agency (sold 49% in 2005). Kline also served as the Chairman of the Athletes for Rudy Giuliani Coalition during Giuliani’s bid for the presidency. Sean Clemens is a Senior Vice President and Principal at Park Lane.
Mr. Clemens joined Park Lane in 2009 and plays a principal role in the firm’s financial analysis, due diligence, document preparation, and research. He is an active participant on the firm’s deal review team, evaluating potential engagements including capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings. He has worked on transactions across all major American sports leagues, minor leagues, European soccer, and spanning a wide range of sports-based businesses.
Mr. Clemens is a key contributor to Park Lane’s valuation practice and liaises with the firm’s broker dealer to manage compliance efforts. He has authored several SportsBusiness Journal articles and sports industry white papers on behalf of Park Lane.

Edwin E. Draughan | Investment Banking Associate
Edwin E. Draughan is an Investment Banking Associate at Park Lane.
Edwin has been a member of Park Lane since 2018 and is actively involved across all of the firm’s services. Mr. Draughan’s responsibilities include reviewing prospective incoming deals, managing client and investor relations, conducting due diligence, and assisting in the preparation of our client’s marketing and financial material. Since his arrival, Mr. Draughan has been a key contributor in originating and closing deals in the Sports M&A, Capital Group and Franchise Valuations verticals.
Prior to Park Lane, Mr. Draughan was a professional basketball player in Europe. During his 10-year career, Mr. Draughan competed and won championships in countries such as Switzerland, France, and Hungary. Toward the end of his professional basketball career, he founded the private wealth management/financial planning firm, Diesel Financial, where he helped professional athletes build a strong financial future. During that time, he earned his C.F.P. (Certificate of Financial Planning) and E.A. (Enrolled Agent) distinction.

Ms. Medici serves as Park Lane’s Controller and is responsible for supporting the accounting and cash management activities of Park Lane, the proprietary Fund, and the portfolio companies. Medici has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Prior to her role at Park Lane, Ms. Medici served as an accountant to Rogers Foam Corporation, Accounts Payable Clerk at Beacon, and accounting manager at ThinkBox Inc.
Ms. Medici earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Wellesley College where she graduated with distinction. Ms. Medici also attended Harvard University and UCLA where she completed her accounting program.

Prior to Ready, Mr. Faloon was the Chief Strategy Officer at Neighborly, a San Francisco–based financial technology startup focused on financing and deploying fiber-optic broadband infrastructure in communities around the U.S. The company aimed to deliver critical fiber broadband infrastructure to communities, and opportunities to investors interested in closing the digital divide. Previous to their broadband endeavors, Neighborly facilitated municipal bond investments to finance community infrastructure, including schools, libraries, bike paths, and parks. Prior to Neighborly, Mr. Faloon was the Chief Operating Officer at Standish Mellon Asset Management. Standish manages $150 billion in fixed income assets on behalf of individuals, corporations, sovereign wealth funds, and foreign central banks. Mr. Wilson worked at Standish for nearly twenty years initially assuming a position as an Associate and Credit Analyst and working his way up through a position as a Portfolio Manager and then ultimately his C-level position as COO of the firm.

Earl Yen is chairman of Red Cedar Capital Ltd., with a presence in Boston and Shanghai. Mr. Yen has nearly 30 years of experience in the investment industry, including over 20 years living and working in Asia. At Red Cedar, he works primarily with Asia-based alternative investment managers in formulating and executing their US fundraising strategies and investor outreach.
Prior to starting Red Cedar, Mr. Yen was the founding chairman and chief investment officer of CSV Capital Partners, a Greater China-focused alternative investment firm pursuing both private and public equity strategies, based in Shanghai. Mr. Yen previously spent nine years as an investment banker with Bear Stearns and Citigroup, helping Asia-based companies in their global capital raising transactions and advising multinational companies on Asia-Pacific cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to launching SandCap, LLC, Mr. Sander was a Managing Director of New Business Development for MHP Real Estate Capital, LLC where he was responsible for raising capital for MHP investment opportunities. Prior to MHP, Mr. Sander worked on capital and deal sourcing assignments for several of the largest New York City based real estate private equity companies and real estate families. Prior to launching Tamaskia Capital Group, Ms. Ventujol was Vice President at Fortress Investment Group LLC, a global alternative investments management firm headquartered in New York City. At Fortress, Ms. Ventujol worked as a product specialist for Michael Novogratz’s macro hedge fund in New York City and later joined Pete Briger’s private credit group in New York and San Francisco, where she raised money for a variety of opportunities in the credit space, including PE style funds and co-investments.
Before Fortress, Ms. Ventujol worked as a hedge fund research analyst within HSBC’s alternative investments group in New York, where she conducted in-depth due diligence on hedge fund investments and negotiated capacity for HSBC’s $38bn hedge fund business. Prior to moving to New York, Ms. Ventujol started her HSBC career at the firm’s London and Hong Kong offices.
Ms. Ventujol graduated from Oxford University with a B.A. (Honors) degree in economics and management. She also obtained an Msc. in Global Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and an M.A. in Global Communication from the University of Southern California.

He started his career in 1985 at Bankers Trust, where he originated foreign currency structured products for the Market Transactions Group.
