Mr. Jeffrey Appel is the Managing Principal of JDA Funds Management, Inc., an alternative investment and investment banking firm. Mr. Appel began his career as an investment banker focused on healthcare sector before transitioning to institutional equity sales, where he held senior roles at several of Wall Street's most prestigious firms. Across a 40-year career, he has transacted with many of the world's most renowned investors and leading institutional investors and has contributed to raising billions of dollars on behalf of clients he has worked with over the course of his career. In addition, he currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Head of Capital Formation of Snowpoint Ventures.

Mr. Appel received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985. A lifelong New Yorker, he currently resides in Palm Beach County.

Outside of work, Mr. Appel is a highly accomplished competitive tennis player and a recognized figure in the sport. He founded the Finance Cup in 2015, serves as Captain of Team USA, was most recently ranked #1 in the East in his age group, and was inducted into the Eastern Tennis Hall of Fame in 2025. He has also mentored more than 125 former professional and collegiate players and supports charities serving underserved youth through tennis.

Mr. Appel currently holds Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA.
