Mr. Clayton Funk is the Founder and CEO of Signal Strength Advisors.

Signal Strength Advisors ("SSA") is a boutique investment banking firm specializing in the wireless tower, in-building wireless / DAS, small cell, and telecom leasehold interest verticals within the constantly growing digital infrastructure space.

Previously, Mr. Funk was a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, a global investment banking firm. Prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2020, Mr. Funk was a partner at MVP Capital, an independent advisory firm that provided a range of advisory services to clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Over his career, he has closed more than 225 deals, including M&A, sale-leasebacks, and private debt and equity capital placements totalling more than $5.0 billion in value.

Mr. Funk’s transaction experience includes representing multiple private-equity-backed tower companies in divestitures, negotiating sale-leasebacks for wireless carriers and publicly traded broadcasters, and raising capital for tower developers and in-building wireless providers.

Prior to joining MVP Capital, Mr. Funk worked at Nations Media Partners, a Kansas City-based investment banking firm specializing in various areas of telecommunications, media, and publishing, for seven years.

Mr. Funk regularly moderates or participates in panels at several state-level, regional, and national conferences on the topic of shared digital infrastructure.

Mr. Funk graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Communications from Washburn University and has been honoured as an Alumni Fellow.

Mr. Luke Fields is a Vice President ​at Signal Strength Advisors (SSA), a boutique investment banking firm specializing in the wireless tower, in-building wireless/DAS, small cell, and telecom leasehold interest verticals within the rapidly growing digital infrastructure space. 

Prior to joining Signal Strength Advisors, he held roles at Five Elms Capital, where he supported more than 20 transactions totaling $1.9 billion in enterprise value and contributed to raising multiple funds, and at DeMarche Associates, where he focused on research and manager selection in alternative assets. 

Mr. Fields holds a BSBA in Finance, with a Certificate in Integrated Investment Management, from Kansas State University.

Mr. Tyler Kelso is an Investment Banking Analyst at Signal Strength Advisors, a Kansas City-based investment banking firm focused on digital infrastructure advisory and capital markets solutions. 

Mr. Kelso has experience across investment banking, private credit, and alternative investments. He is recognized as a driven financial professional with experience supporting investment analysis, fundamental research, and capital markets initiatives across a range of industries. Prior to joining Signal Strength Advisors, he served as a Jr. Alternative/High-Yield Investment Analyst at Mutual of Omaha, where he focused primarily on investments within private credit. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kelso held positions with Kompass Kapital Management, IX Capital Partners, and FAS Wealth Partners, gaining experience in investment analysis, wealth management, and private markets. He also participated in the Applied Portfolio Management program at the University of Kansas School of Business, where he actively managed a $500,000 portfolio for the KU Endowment and published investment research and valuation reports.

Mr. Kelso earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Pre-Medicine from The University of Kansas.

Ms. Siena Gailloux, Investment Banking Associate of Signal Strength Advisors, has joined as an Affiliate Partner. 

Ms. Gailloux is an Investment Banking Associate at Signal Strength Advisors, a Kansas City-based investment banking firm focused on digital infrastructure advisory and capital markets solutions. 

Ms. Gailloux has several years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, and capital markets. She is recognized as a skilled financial professional with expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and structured financing solutions. Throughout her career, she has supported clients across the technology, infrastructure, and corporate finance sectors. 

Prior to joining Signal Strength Advisors, Ms. Gailloux spent nearly four years at J.P. Morgan, where she served as an ABL Syndications Associate and previously as a Technology Sponsor Finance Analyst. In these roles, she focused on syndicated lending transactions, sponsor-backed financings, and technology-focused leveraged finance opportunities. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Gailloux gained investment and research experience through positions with the William C. Conner Foundation Educational Investment Fund, Aksarben Discovery Fund I LP, and TD Ameritrade. She also authored research examining trends in the leveraged lending market, including Assessing the Rise of Covenant-Lite Loans in the Leveraged Lending Market. 

Ms. Gailloux earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas Christian University.
