Ben Benson, CPA

Managing Partner

Mr. Benson focuses on helping owners and operators translate strategy and operations into defensible enterprise value. His expertise sits at the intersection of M&A, software, hospitality, and business services, with deep experience in go-to-market strategy, transaction readiness, and complex deal execution. He has worked across private equity, investment banking, and corporate development, including leading strategic initiatives and acquisitions within scaled operating businesses. Mr. Benson is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and is based near Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Benson earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho and an MBA from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University.

Mr. Benson holds the SIE, Series 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA, and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California.

John Stubbs

Managing Partner

Mr. Stubbs works with leadership teams in healthcare, insurance, and growth-stage companies to turn strategy into scalable, monetizable businesses. His background blends strategy, corporate development, and innovation, with experience advising and operating across startups through large enterprises. He specializes in helping organizations clarify value drivers, evaluate growth and partnership opportunities, and execute initiatives that matter to investors and acquirers. Mr. Stubbs is based in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Stubbs earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho and both an MBA and a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Mr. Stubbs holds the SIE, Series 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA.

John Stephenson

Managing Partner

Mr. Stephenson advises owners and investors navigating complex transactions in industrials, manufacturing, automotive, and business services. He brings a rigorous, execution-focused approach to buy-side and sell-side M&A, recapitalizations, and transaction planning, with a strong emphasis on positioning businesses for premium outcomes. His experience spans middle-market advisory platforms and analytically driven deal environments, giving him a practical understanding of what buyers value and how transactions are executed. Mr. Stephenson is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Stephenson earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University–Idaho and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
