Bruce Stachenfeld of The Useful Bruce, LLC Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce that Bruce Stachenfeld, Managing Member of The Useful Bruce has joined as an Affiliate Partner.

Bruce M. Stachenfeld is one of the nation’s preeminent real estate attorneys. With over 40 years of sophisticated real estate legal experience, he is the founding partner and now chairman of boutique NYC powerhouse real estate law firm Adler & Stachenfeld LLP, which is known as the Pure Play in Real Estate Law - www.adstach.com.

Bruce is one of the most well known icons in the real estate industry through his widely read writings as The Real Estate Philosopher.  Among other accolades, he was listed in the Commercial Observer’s Power 100 Reader’s Poll List in 2013 (along with his partner, Terri Adler), naming the most powerful people in New York real estate. He has also been the subject of one of vaunted The Closing articles in The Real Deal.  

As both an attorney and thought leader, Bruce is known to be one of the most “connected” real estate persons throughout the U.S. real estate community.  And Bruce has used this connectivity to benefit his clients by creating introductions and opportunities, typically connecting those with capital to those who have a use for this capital.

To expand this connectivity, Bruce formed The Useful Bruce, LLC, through which he acts as a registered representative of Stonehaven. In this capacity, Bruce assists real estate sponsors seeking to raise capital by making targeted introductions to his robust list of personal real estate investor contacts.

Prior to founding Adler & Stachenfeld LLP, Bruce practiced law at Latham & Watkins, Mayer Brown, and Shea & Gould.

Bruce received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Tufts University in 1979 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1983.  Bruce is admitted to practice in New York.

Bruce holds SIE, Series 7, and 63 registrations with FINRA.
