John Worley and Scott Cohen of Twelve East Capital, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce that John Worley and Scott Cohen, Managing Partner of Twelve East Capital, has joined as an Affiliate Partner

John Worley:

Mr. John Worley is Managing Partner at Twelve East Capital. 

Twelve East Capital is a lower middle market investment banking and capital advisory firm based in Chicago that advises family offices, high-net-worth individuals, founders, and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, accessing liquidity against their illiquid asset portfolios, and secondary transactions. The firm focuses on delivering customized solutions for transactions ranging from $3 million to $100 million. 

Prior to co-founding Twelve East Capital, Mr. Worley spent more than a decade with Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust, where he advised entrepreneurs, business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and families on banking, lending, and capital solutions. Throughout his tenure, he held senior leadership roles and was responsible for developing client relationships and providing strategic financial guidance. 

Mr. Worley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was a member of the university’s football team. 

Mr. Worley holds the SIE, Series 82, and 63 registrations with FINRA. 

Scott Cohen:

Mr. Scott Cohen is the Managing Partner of Twelve East Capital. 

Twelve East Capital is a Chicago-based lower middle market investment banking and capital advisory firm that advises family offices, high-net-worth individuals, founders, and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, liquidity solutions for illiquid asset portfolios, and secondary transactions. The firm delivers customized solutions for transactions ranging from $3 million to $100 million. 

Prior to co-founding Twelve East Capital, Mr. Cohen spent more than a decade at Metropolitan Capital, where he held senior leadership roles advising entrepreneurs, business owners, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals on capital markets, private placements, lending, and strategic financing solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked in wealth management and commercial real estate, providing investment advisory and analytical support to clients across a variety of industries. 

Mr. Cohen earned a degree in Finance from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University. 

Mr. Cohen holds the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, 79, and 82 registrations with FINRA.
