Paul Mangione, Founder & Managing Partner of Fort Schuyler Capital, Joins Stonehaven's Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce the Mr. Paul Mangione has officially joined Stonehaven, LLC as Managing Director of Affiliate Partner Group, Fort Schuyler Capital.

Mr. Paul Mangione is the Founder and Managing Director of Fort Schuyler Capital. Mr. Mangione focuses on structured credit, fintech originators and venture capital opportunities.  

Before forming Fort Schuyler Capital, Mr. Mangione established Fort Schuyler Advisors to help financial institutions analyze portfolios of loans, apply leading technological solutions to their existing infrastructure, and develop comprehensive plans for the management of illiquid assets. Mr. Mangione brings over 20+ years of experience in technology and portfolio management with public investment companies, private funds, and broker/dealers.

Mr. Mangione was the Non-Agency Portfolio Manager of Apollo Residential Mortgage, Inc. a public mortgage REIT focused on investing in and managing residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and other residential mortgage assets throughout the US. At Apollo, Mr. Mangione also researched and invested in securities backed by marketplace lending and Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) loans. He was the Head Trader at Vantium Management LP, another Apollo Global Management sponsored fund that focused on attaining equity like returns on credit investments in legacy non-Agency RMBS and residential mortgages. Prior to that, Mr. Mangione was a Managing Director at a major broker/dealer where he was a whole loan trader, specifically focused on residential mortgages, manufactured housing, automobile, and recreational vehicle loans. Mr. Mangione began his career at Credit Suisse as a Technical Associate developing systems for MBS trade entry, allocation, and settlement before transferring to the Asset Finance Group where he served as a collateral analyst, structurer, and Vice President of the Financial Engineering team.

Mr. Mangione received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Science and Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Mangione currently holds Series 63, and 7TO registrations with FINRA.
