Rob Lingle of Pacific Alternative Investments LLC, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform.

We are excited to announce that Rob Lingle, Founder and President of Pacific Alternative Investments, LLC, has joined as an Affiliate Partner.

Mr. Rob Lingle is the Founder and President of Pacific Alternative Investments, LLC.

Pacific Alternative Investments, LLC offers distribution services to differentiated alternative investment managers and sources compelling investment opportunities for institutional and high net worth investors. The firm leverages nearly two decades of relationships that Mr. Lingle has developed from his prior roles in business development.

Mr. Lingle recently celebrated his 40th year in the financial industry.  He began his career as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch and Shearson Lehman Brothers prior to becoming a CTA and managing money for Commodities Corporation. Later he founded and managed his own brokerage company for more than a decade before transitioning to the marketing of alternative investments in 2005; internally at CTA’s Tactical Investment Management and Northfield Trading and externally at placement agent firms, Hedge Harbor and Capital Growth Advisors.

Mr. Lingle has been passionate about the investment industry since meeting his mentor, “Market Wizard” Ed Seykota while attending college.  In addition to being a futures and equities trader, he is an investor in a variety of alternative investment limited partnerships that include CTA, systematic global macro, long/short equity, private credit, private equity, venture capital, real estate, niche fund of funds, merger, and structural arbitrage.  His experience as both a money manager and investor give him valuable insight into the perspectives of the managers and investors that he assists.

Mr. Lingle received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Lingle holds the Series 3, 7, 30, 63, and 65 registrations with FINRA and the NFA, and is a member of the California Alternative Investment Association.  He and his wife are lifelong residents of Southern California, and he is an avid golfer and tennis player.
