Daniel Yunheng Zhu of Stamford Capital, LLC Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce that Daniel Yunheng Zhu, Senior Associate of Stamford Capital has joined as an Affiliate Partner

Mr. Daniel Yunheng Zhu is a Senior Associate at Stamford Capital, a private capital advisory firm focused on private placement activities across critical sectors, including infrastructure, deep technology innovation, and the federal government contracting industry.

Mr. Zhu brings a diverse background spanning government contracting, innovation and entrepreneurship, and academic research. Prior to joining Stamford Capital, he spent over five years with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), where he held several key roles within Commercial Operations. Most recently, he served as Program Manager for Maker, a DIU initiative that provides funding and strategic support to defense-oriented startups developing their first prototypes. In this role, he oversaw the planning, budgeting, and execution of more than a dozen early-stage prototype programs across multiple technology verticals.

Earlier at DIU, Mr. Zhu managed the X-Force Fellowship program, embedding engineers, scientists, and policy professionals within Department of Defense agencies and military units nationwide to address complex national security challenges through applied innovation.

Mr. Zhu earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University. Mr. Zhu is fluent in English and Chinese.

Mr. Zhu holds Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.
