Michael Iannaccone of MDI Investments LLC, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform.

We are excited to announce that Michael Iannaccone, Founder and President of MDI Investments, has joined as an Affiliate Partner.

Mr. Mike Iannaccone is the Founder and President of MDI Investments. 

MDI Investments LLC helps financial institutions grow and better serve customers. From finding the best strategic partners to developing strategies to raise capital, MDI Investments serves as a trusted advisor, combining the expertise of management consulting with that of a boutique investment bank. 

Mr. Iannaccone is an investment banker and banking consultant with over 25 years of experience. He has been an internal and external consultant to the Top 30 banks (by assets), community banks, credit unions, and fintechs.

Mr. Iannaccone provides strategic planning, corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and financial modelling services to the banking sector. In that time, he completed 200+ merger and acquisition assignments, raised capital, structured debt, and negotiated joint ventures/partnerships between fintechs, banks, and asset managers.

During the Great Financial Crisis, with Mr. Iannaccone’s assistance, five depositories were able to stave off FDIC receivership. He has held Managing Director roles at investment banking firms focused on financial services including Performance Trust Capital Partners, Howe Barnes Investments, and Fox-Pitt Kelton. Mr. Iannaccone also was an equity research analyst for four years achieving exceptional IRR results.  Before those duties, he managed 80 initial public offerings for savings and loans and commercial banks. 

More recently, Mr. Iannaccone served on the Advisory Board of several fintech startups in the consumer lending and residential real estate product space. 

Mr. Iannaccone has completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Saint John's University and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Business - Northwestern University. 

Currently, Mr. Iannaccone lives with his wife, Karen of 34 years, in Oak Park, Illinois. He has two adult children. 

Mr. Iannacone holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 registrations with FINRA.
